Just imagine if you could actually get to the end of the temple and escape the evil gorillas or imagine if you could eventually get rid of the policeman at your back in subway surfers. We thought about those and decided to make a game out of it. One of the many features of ''late for school'' is that you can actually finish the and get a self reward of accomplishment. Compete with your friends and yourself by accepting the challenge and finished the first 50 stages of the game. Happy gaming.

What is Late for school

It is about a primary student who is always late for school.

He gets up late everyday so he always ends up with a very limited time to get to school. 

In the game the player has two minutes to get to school. 

Unlike other runner games like temple run and subway surfers, late for school has an end. It is the first runner game against time with and end.

The wait is almost over

In a few days (less than 4) we would be able to enjoy the new update.

Game Tips

• Plan your move before you reach an obstacle
• Plan for the gates most especially
• Try to jump as few times as possible
• Best time to jump is when you're in-between two gates (prevents you from hitting an obstacle you might not see) jump and move sideways in mid-air.
• Collect coins and buy more time with it.

All New Game come with major amd minor glitches

As we have released the first version, we would be doing the following

• Fix minor and major bugs
• Improve game-play

One popular glitch so far. This happens when you get stuck on the arch and you slide down (shown in the picture below).

Solution: try not to get stuck and if you do and the cloud glitch comes, just press pause and the restart

(there are two types of arcs. One is free in the middle and the other is free on both sides.

Late for School Game tutorial: timer and power-ups

Note the purple, red and silver circles in the picture below. (They are two pictures in a collage to make one).

• The icon circled in red is a timer.
• The icon circled in purple is a power-up.
• The icon in silver disappears when your time is used up.

To purchase more time, tap on the icon in purple. Each purchase(tap) is a second.

This game allows credit which explains the negative number in the purple circle.

If you have not purchased any timer in the power-up store then you'd have negative timer.

You get one second credit at the start of each game.

New game, new features.

If anyone remembers the obstacles we posted on the blog yesterday, we have attached the obstacle to the game now and here's how it looks.. apologies to those who are eager to test the game, we have been delayed by apple this time. Over ten days ago we submitted the game and its is still undergoing review. He hope and believe it would be ready soon. For now have a look at what you should expect in our first update on apple. Anyone remembers the last arc we posted? We have made modifications and have made two new models out of it. This would make the game more challenging and more interesting? The would be available in put first official update on iTunes in about a week time. The first build is still awaiting review, so not to worry. Late For School, who wants to play?

Anyone interested in watching video tutorials?. Our new game doesn't teach you how to go about the game as we think it would be cool for we all to make mistakes once in a while. However we're still going to teach you how to play the game and make videos for every update because are nice. :) . We are still waiting on apple to review our beta version so we should be able to play it soon.

What does this mean?

As we have submitted the beta version of the game for review, we feel its about time we started letting you know what some things in the game meant. As you may already know, we aren't finished with the game just yet as we have many updates lined up for you guys. These features would improve gameplay, graphics and design. Now we shall move on to the topic above us. While you're playing this first feature (beta version), you would notice that when you run through other obstacles like the brick arc, stop sign or trashcans there is something that looks like a pause (you get stuck in the front of the obstacle or you think its game over). Do not be alarmed, all you need to do is to swipe left or right depending on what lane is available. (we have not completed the design of that bit of the game so that part would be improved in one of our updates). Running through all obstacles asides the cars or busses only slow you down and reduce the time you have left in the game. This is a beta version so all features are not included just yet. For now we challenge you all to complete the first 25 stages.

Here is a picture describing what a second reduced out of total time or seconds depending on how many obstacles you run through. Soon we would show you videos describing this.

I must say, it was quite challenging. Not to worry, we have boosters coming up as well (just might make things easier. They would be included after a few days after initial release of beta version.

Who's ready to play the beta version? :D

All our fans who have been waiting since we started and of course our new and forthcoming fans I have good news. Soon (less than a week) we all would be able to download the beta version. The game is far from being completed, but we would like you to have a go and experience how it feels to be a part of an app development project (at least some bit). If you remember, we made a promise at the beginning that we would make sure everyone is taken along with the development of the game and our other apps. this is one of the stages, you've seen model, pictures, screenshots, videos and now it is time to experience gameplay. This beta version has one major task. Just get to school before time runs out. Very advisable to collect as much coins as you can. We have so many hidden treasures you can get with those coins. Believe me, you would need them soon. We have many updates coming with the rest of the game features and you all would be the first to get it.
This beta version is very open to critics. We are constantly making changes and still building all the features. Main game idea remains.

Here's some details about this version: every obstacle asides from the cars and busses would slow you down and one second would be deducted from you time. The cars and busses are however not very friendly as well. Run through anyone of them and its game over. Luckily, all you have to do is play again. :). If you don't make it to school on time, it would also be game over and once again, you can retry. Countdown time is 2 minutes (120 seconds). We have 100 stages developed at the moment (more would be added also), but we would only release 25 stage.  Simple task right? :D

We bring you the boosters to. ( we apologies for the delays guys as we are  still working out some technical difficulties). However we would like to have a look at our boosters for the test(beta) version of Late for school "L4S". In this game, booster can be used anytime while playing the game. to use them, all you have to do is tap on them(little icons on left side of screen (picture coming soon) while you're playing a stage.

In less than a month, we would all be able to download L4S for free on our smartphones.
